A Quick Recap of Some of my More Recent and Popular Posts

Hello world!  I hope that everyone is doing well!  As you all know, I’m passionate about career development and sales development.  For this post I thought I’d go back and share some of my most popular and some of my favorite posts of the last couple of years.  Check them out below!

Besides the fact that Daft Punk is cool this is gives some good insight into  recreating yourself and innovating.

I wrote this right before the Super Bowl and probably should have changed it to Peyton Manning’s somewhat amazing comeback.  After all, second place is the first loser…

This post focuses on what happens when you are bounded by your own perceptions and assumptions.

This is by far one of my favorite posts.  Why?  Two reasons – First, it all comes from experience.  I swear I could write a book about interview mess ups.  The second is because it caused a lot of great dialogue.

I like this one because the title is true.  It’s also really important as the act of leaving your company can be a really emotional time – your current employer will pounce on this weakness and pay you to stay in a bad situation.  Don’t fall for it!

This one focuses on some insight I’ve gained over time working with producers.

  1. You need insurance for almost anything. You even need it for railroad insurance. You never know what just might happen and it is important to know who can help you out when you are in need.
